Draped Gown:

Hi you guys. Here's something I made awhile back, and I thought I’d show it to you. I made this gown last year using knit and chiffon fabric. It was my first draped gown so half of the time I was just playing around with it. I hope you like it and have a great weekend.

  2. Do you have places to wear all these wonderful things you make? Or you should just make a bunch of dresses and then hold an event for people to come to wearing your dresses. I know the idea is not fully sketched out right now but its a good idea. You are incredibly talented. Oh my god I just misspelled talented... and I'm trying to be a writer. Nice Rich, nice.

  3. Thanks you guys. : )

Boomka- Sadly I don't...I guess I could wear them around the house...but that's not very practical. Well I made this gown for The Scholastics Art and Writting Awards. It won a regional silver key in appeal design. You mean kinda like a runway show? Haha. Aw, thank you.

  4. I think this is beautiful! And I don't think I've ever known somebody so young to be so talented at anything (except perhaps at piano, like those 8-year old prodigy children that make Mozart and Beethoven look like fools). I hope you're an artist that gives yourself lots of recognition, because the clothing you make is, excuse my francais, pretty damn incredible!

  6. Oh Esther, this is so dreamy. I fantasize about wearing something like this. Have you thought about selling your pieces?

  7. Hi Esther! I just came across your blog and I have to say you seem like a very talented girl, and considering your age, it's just amazing. The pictures you take have a wonderful serene feeling about them and I can't believe you made this gown. Just keep on doing what you like to do, and who knows what you could achieve in the future:)
    Best wishes,
    Hannele (from Finland)

  8. Thanks all of you.

@SWF_Terra: I would deffinately be up for selling this gown. Half of the clothes I make I don't even wear so I might start up an Esty shop. I'm also thinking about doing a give away sometime in the future with my clothes.

  9. Start an etsy shop! I would buy a piece or two. Also, sell some photography. It's brilliant.

  11. Yes, please do! I would so buy your clothes, apart from I would imagine the postage would be really expensive because I live in the UK!

If I was getting married (haha, I wish) this dress would be top of my list!

  12. Esther, I would definitely purchase one of your gowns. Although I guess it depends on the price. Unfortunatley I do not have a couture-friendly wallet. I implore you to build an Etsy shop. You will be bombarded by requests me thinks.
