Dress: Sent by Sheinside
Converse: Thrift store $1
Lately I’ve really been inspired by ballet dancers. Which is kind of ironic, because I was a dance school dropout at the age of four. I was a huge tomboy and I just thought that dancing was considered too girly. So I dropped ballet and switched over to soccer. I’ve always secretly wanted to do it again.
Although, I've always had a thing for Michael Jackson's dance moves. About 4 or 5 years ago I was completely obsessed with him! For that whole summer I was on YouTube watching every "Dance like Michael Jackson" tutorial that I could find...yes I was that person. Although by the end of that summer I was at least able to do a fairly decent moon walk without totally tripping over my feet and falling. haha

These photos are lovely and you look like you'd be great at lyrical, seriously, other than the fact that your toes aren't pointed, you already look like a dancer.

ReplyDeleteKeldon: What a crazy-random-happen-stance, my plan involves that same idea

ReplyDeleteJordan: Well thank you, but I don't think that I'll be dancing anytime soon...I woke up waaaay too sore after that photo shoot. haha I'm a bit of a wimp.

ReplyDeleteYou are soooooo talented and inspiring! I've just seen all your posts on this blog and I'm totally in love with your art! I wish you a great success , dear <3! I also draw and paint, but I still don't know what I want when it comes to creating. And I'm often really disappointed with my artworks. You give me motivation to do my best! My latest aim is to learn how to create artworks on graphics tablet :). And this time I know, I'm not going to give up! You gave me also courage to show my works the whole world. Thank you for being so wonderful!

Beautiful photos. My secret dream has always been to be a ballerina too. Although I've never taken dance classes, and I can't dance at all. ><
ReplyDeleteThis summer I plan on working, sewing, taking pictures, and thrifting... : )
Your pictures are beautiful!! I've always secretly wished I could dance well, but alas I can't, even though I took ballet lessons as a kid, and jazz in my teens. Now, the only dancing I do is silly dancing at home (and sometimes in public places) :)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog - the red dress you posted about a couple weeks ago is STUNNING! Seriously, people in Europe would spend a looot of money of such a beautiful dress. My mom's a quilter and she taught me how to sew quilts, bags, pillows, etc. but I don't dare to try to sew clothes. It's pretty intimidating in the beginning. Your blog is really inspiring though to give it a try ;)
