April showers bring May flowers

Hello everyone! It’s been so hot here in Indiana the past couple of weeks! Last week it hit a record high of 86 degrees! I’ve had to wear sunblock all week, just so that I don’t burn (oh the joys of being a redhead). Because it’s been so hot lately, all of the flowers are out early this year. For years, every spring my mom has been splitting daffodil bulbs and replanting then all over our yard so that they can grow and multiply. Now after years of doing this, there are thousands of daffodils all over our yard. It reminds me of that scene in “Big Fish” when the main character finally tells the girl that he loves her and there are daffodils everywhere. What are some of your favorite movie scenes? I have a whole list of favorites, but I want to hear yours :)

^This is my cat Bobby. He's going to be 15-years-old in June!

I hope that you’re all having a great weekend so far!!

  1. Gorgeous! You make your fields look beautiful at any time of year.

As for movie scenes...pretty much all of Black Beauty and The Secret Garden. Those are my favourite childhood movies, too.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I posted about you here: http://junaluskaaa.blogspot.com/2012/03/springtime-yellow.html

  10. I've never watched completely Big Fish but i know I have to. Respect my favorite movies I can tell you about Mary and Max. It's an animated film about a girl called Mary who lives in the suburbs of Australia and she decided to write a letter to an unknown man called Max who lived in the chaotic New York city. With the time, they became friends and found out strong feelings that suport that friendship for years. At the moment I was watching the movie I couldn´t understand what was happening with my eyes; I started crying a lot. It was a huge impact for me, 'cause some time ago I didn't cry like that. It´s a wonderfull film and for that reason I advise you to watch it if you have not.

I love the angles you choose for your pictures. They have that perfect sense of old times and the taste of nature that is always in your journal inspirations. I cann't believe the terrible summer that you´re suffering. Here in Colombia we don´t have seasons but there are some cities where the temperature reach until 40ºC.

You have a very cute cat. I fell in love!

It's nice to visit your blog. Have a nice day,
