If I were like a butterfly and lived but three summer days
This is my last day of school then I'll be free, FOOREVVER, Fooorevvver..foorevvver…foorever…(The Sandlot.) Haha. My photos were inspired by the movie, “Bright Star.” If you haven’t seen it yet I highly recommend it. The scenery and costume design in it are gorgeous! After seeing that movie I have definitely decided to move to Europe. I got my dress at a thrift store, but it was too long on me so I made the hem shorter. I also put a “V” shaped neckline in the back of it….I thought it gave it more character. I hope you like it, and Happy Summer!!
"Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death."
