Neverland at twilight:

Ahhh footies…my childhood is calling. I used to wear footies day and night, night and day...and sometimes even in the shower! So the other day I got thinking about what I’m missing in my life and I realized that my life was missing a pair of footies. So I made a pair. Haha. They’re actually pretty easy to make. I used a pair of old pj pants for the bottom part and then used my own pattern for the top part. I’m pretty happy with the way they turned out. My photos were also inspired by my childhood. Ahhhh….the good old days of homemade tents using sheets, chairs and whatever else you could find. Sometimes I wish I could be like Peter Pan and never grow up…but then I remember how nice it is to reach the counter tops without using a stool.

  2. So incredible, your creativity is astounding! I love that you are inspired by something in your past that you related a nice feeling with and then recreated that moment, so cute you made footsies...man, in the winter that is the best! The colours in the top picture are beautiful. Talented missy!

  5. Hello Esther! I am a frequent lurker on your blog but today I just had to comment because you reminded me so much of a younger version of me. For my fourteenth birthday I had a slumber party- footie jammies required. I also had an illicit love affair with Lucky Charms until I was about 19, and more recently I find myself in love with John Keats (Bright Star was beautiful, wasn't it?).
Anyway, your photos and your clothes are stunning. Keep doing what you're doing and I will stop in for a refreshing lurk every now and then :)

  7. Just discovered your lovely blog...I love up-cycling clothes. The other day I took an old bra and a skirt that was too long and did what I call 'war tailoring' and turned it into a dress. I think during the war women would make the prettiest things with what they had. I always love baby jammies and like what you did for yours. You have a very bright future both in fashion and photography. Good luck!
