Sun in the Summer time:
Hey you guys! Sorry for the slow posting lately, I’ve been so busy it’s crazy!
I have some exciting news...I’m starting up my own Etsy shop!! Yay! I’ll be starting it sometime in September. I will be selling both vintage items and my own designs. I’m pretty excited about it. Now here’s the real tricky part…coming up with a name…DUN, Dun, dunnnnnn. Haha. So far I’ve got nothin…I’m drawing a blank. So if you guys could help me out that would be sweet! My dad actually came up with a pretty good one, "Milk and Oreo Handmade." The slogan could be "No crumbs left behind." Haha.
Here’s a vintage blouse I got a thrift shop a while back. It had a bunch of holes in it that I had to hand sew, but nothing too bad. This is one of the items I’ll be putting up for sale. :D
And a very special thanks to my doggy for helping me out on this photo shoot.

You are so beautiful and I love your work! I am so excited about your etsy shop.ReplyDelete
YAY! Congratulations! I'm thrilled for you.ReplyDelete
My creative juices are tapped this week. I love your dad's idea though. It's very sweet.
Yay! I love when style blogger's open their own shops!ReplyDelete
I'm not sure you can use Oreo in your brand's name (due to copy rights...but don't quote me on that!), so maybe Milk & Cookies Handmade?
great photos and i am in love with your corgi!ReplyDelete
Why not just "esther from the sticks"? I think that is so appealing.ReplyDelete
yay! cant wait to see your etsy. and i agree with Belle, "esther from the sticks" sounds great!ReplyDelete
I love Esther From the Sticks. It's perfect, and you're a jewel.ReplyDelete
Lovely pics as usual. Looking forward to the Etsy shop :)ReplyDelete
Yes!! I can't wait to look through your etsy shop. Will you be sending to the UK or just USA?ReplyDelete
wow, what the good news!ReplyDelete
very beautiful photos, esther
OH! I cannot wait!! And, yes, keep the Esther from the Sticks name. It's so sweet.ReplyDelete
Golly I wish I had such high grasses to romp around in...
How awesome! I may be one of your first customers...ReplyDelete
And yes, I think you should keep Esther of the Sticks the same, though perhaps as a tag line. Maybe "Milk and Oreo Handmade: Designs by Esther of the Sticks" or something like that.
I also like the name "Esther from the Sticks." It's unique and memorable.ReplyDelete
And as Kyra pointed out, the word "Oreo" is trademarked.
I am in loveee with your photos, and your designs. I am still at awe over the fact that you are only sixteen. You are just incredible, good luck with your shop....I will be sure to take a peak when it opens ;)ReplyDelete
Congratulations! I can't wait to see what you put up in the shop. And I have to agree w/ everyone else, Esther From the Sticks is the coolest title.ReplyDelete
anyway. I love your blog and your photography is beyond fantastic. Would you ever consider selling photo prints somewhere or just having a separate webspace for photography?
I guess I'll be keeping Esther from the sticks. :)ReplyDelete
HeyBigSpender- I haven't thought that far ahead, but I'll see what I can do. ; )
