Sun in the Summer time:

Hey you guys! Sorry for the slow posting lately, I’ve been so busy it’s crazy!

I have some exciting news...I’m starting up my own Etsy shop!! Yay! I’ll be starting it sometime in September. I will be selling both vintage items and my own designs. I’m pretty excited about it. Now here’s the real tricky part…coming up with a name…DUN, Dun, dunnnnnn. Haha. So far I’ve got nothin…I’m drawing a blank. So if you guys could help me out that would be sweet! My dad actually came up with a pretty good one, "Milk and Oreo Handmade." The slogan could be "No crumbs left behind." Haha.

Here’s a vintage blouse I got a thrift shop a while back. It had a bunch of holes in it that I had to hand sew, but nothing too bad. This is one of the items I’ll be putting up for sale. :D

And a very special thanks to my doggy for helping me out on this photo shoot.

  3. Yay! I love when style blogger's open their own shops!

I'm not sure you can use Oreo in your brand's name (due to copy rights...but don't quote me on that!), so maybe Milk & Cookies Handmade?

  12. How awesome! I may be one of your first customers...

And yes, I think you should keep Esther of the Sticks the same, though perhaps as a tag line. Maybe "Milk and Oreo Handmade: Designs by Esther of the Sticks" or something like that.

  13. I also like the name "Esther from the Sticks." It's unique and memorable.

And as Kyra pointed out, the word "Oreo" is trademarked.

  15. Congratulations! I can't wait to see what you put up in the shop. And I have to agree w/ everyone else, Esther From the Sticks is the coolest title.
anyway. I love your blog and your photography is beyond fantastic. Would you ever consider selling photo prints somewhere or just having a separate webspace for photography?
